Why are there no chat sites for people like myself who suffer from Agoraphobia?

I have looked through the web to find a chat room for people like myself who suffer from this awful condition in the uk why are there none it helps to know and share your feelings and thoughts with others who are going through the same things as yourself

As the first poster says, why don’t you set up a group online, I’m sure it would be successful. Agoraphobia can be a devastating condition. The sufferer can miss out on so many things that others take for granted – playing in the park with their children, family days out, nipping to the shop when they have run out of milk, experiencing the flowers that grow in the garden, passing the time of day with the neighbours etc etc etc. I know, I have been there and done that. Although I am what most would class as recovered, I still yet 15 years on, have days where being outside my home really does not appeal to me. On these days, I force myself outside just to make sure that the agoraphobia does not creep back in and take hold again.

I know how difficult it is for you and wish you well, I hope at sometime soon you manage to over come this condition and you go on to have a wonderful and happy future without fear of what is on the other side of your front door. If you want someone to listen, feel free to contact me.
